How Are Inlays and Onlays Applied

Inlays and onlays are applied right in the comfort of our Thornton, CO dental office. Your doctor will:

  • Remove your old filling or decay from the tooth.
  • Create a digital impression of your tooth to ensure proper fit.
  • Send the impression to the milling unit to be made. (In the meantime, you can sit back and relax! We have a TV for you to enjoy or a plethora of magazines to skim through.)
  • Ensure the onlay or inlay fits perfectly.
  • Bond the porcelain inlay or onlay to the tooth with a strong resin.

  • Longevity: Both porcelain inlays and onlays last 10+ years, and they are known to last longer than composite resin and ceramic.

My review is for Dr. Lori Trembath.  I was introduced to her by my Wife Kathy who was seeing her before I met her.  Dr.L is fantastic.  I don't know many people that enjoy going to the Dentist but Dr.L has always made it an enjoyable experience and has taken great care of my families teeth for years.  I have sent a number of co-workers to Dr. L and all have been taken well care of.  An exemplary Dentist with the top of the line equipment and a staff to match it.  I can't recommend her enough. You MUST schedule a visit if you are looking for a dental office with an amazing staff to take care of you, and make you feel as comfortable as possible during any procedure. Dr. Trembath has been our dentist now for nearly 10 years. She’s made my daughter who struggles with dentistry a fan and she’s never anxious about going to see her which is a huge deal for us. She always shoots me strait on what needs to happen and done an awesome job across the board. Her team is also top notch. We’re out of network now but the services are still within reason. When we had to change Dentists due to our insurance we went to a dentist office that was corporate run and they pretty much supposedly found something wrong with all of our teeth.
I got on Nextdoor and asked for referrals. There were over 100 replies, and it was a no brainer that we went with Dr. Lori Tremath
She will not fix anything that doesn't need to be fixed. She's personal and caring. It's a pleasure when you can say you trust one of your providers. Good appointment time response. I have and will continue to do referrals to her.
